  • Ended our barrel season together with a bang!! Had a nice clean run and won another buckle! 🙌🏼 Oh red dragon you are not mine but I love you like you are & I’m glad I got to experience these previous months of races with you.It is a bitter sweet moment for me but onto the next chapter I go.     So idk if anyone noticed, during our first run i lost my left sturrip around the second barrel! I tried catching it but noticed i was messing penny up so i told her to run and mommy will hang on! And I DID!!! Look at these incredible moments caught by Samantha Weeks! I am over the moon with my little rocket donkey! Still over the moon with the fact that we placed and came in the top 5 TWICE!! She is nothing short of amazing. I am so blessed just to know her🥰🤩❤️
    I put the pictures in sequence leading up to loosing the sturrip 😂 pretty bad ass id say!! Lol

  • It’s been a long lull we’ve been in. Tons of what if’s and why’s have been asked. Today we WON our FIRST barrel race together and some happy tears were most definitely shed!!!! My girl was ON POINT and I could not be happier with how she performed! A huge thank you to Casey on the corrective criticism 💪🏼 Alicia for keeping C & C Feed Store stocked with Magic Mud because it’s a huge part of our weekend and weekly work outs 🦄, Samantha Weeks for capturing the most perfect pictures, and C&C for always standing behind me and keeping my girl on the best feeding program designed for her! I’m still in shock i took the entire 1D 😳 Extra Dimples Horse Treats for my sweet girl for sure!!!!
  • Let me tell you what dreams feel like......this mare right here......to be able to ride this mare and be the 12th fastest time of the day out of 58 riders may not seem like much to some....but to me it was everything 🤩. To even see my name in the 2D bracket and to be in the middle of it...boy let me tell you what....🥰. Total win for me 💪. Once I get completely comfortable with this mare....GAME ON 👊. I have waited a lifetime for this opportunity and I’m not going to waste it 😉.

    This little mare of mine, we have tested each other the last few months. I wanted to give up but everyone said no. Your not giving up. Your going to keep going and push through this. Two people keep saying this to me and won’t let me give up. One person keeps saying “Get your @$$ to that race.” These people see the stress and frustration we continue to have and don’t give up on me. We have come so far in 2 years that it’s an amazing feeling and to see the results is even better. That’s the tribe you want and I have it. Without this tribe, I would have given up months ago because of everything going on. I have a lot of support from this tribe. But my biggest supporter is my mom who can’t come to ra we but is always there in spirit and talking to me. I would do anything to have her at one single race. But being there in spirit will work. All I have to do is think about her and look and she’s there. I will always do my hardest to make you proud of me. I love you always and forever."
